Fleeing Atlanta many years ago, I grew to love this area and am proud to be a country girl.  I now live with my family in Pickens County in the tiny community of Talking Rock. After growing up in the city, I know how important it is to have a little piece of heaven away from all the traffic and congestion.

My career in real estate began almost 27 years ago while I was operating a trucking company, working as a wholesale florist, and serving on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity in Pickens County. I found quickly that real estate was my "fun" job, since I love making home ownership a dream come true. 

Country cooking is a big part of my life, and, in early 2006, I began hosting a cooking program viewed in Atlanta, Greenville, and locally through cable television.  In 2007 the cooking program opened the door to a morning talk show, which enables me to come into homes from the mountains of North Georgia to the hills of Cherokee County. The slogan on The Cherie Show says it all:  "Where rivers, mountains and good friends meet." 

Today, my careers in television and real estate go hand in hand .  I encourage the people I meet through my morning show to check out the beautiful places we call home.  I love sharing a DAYCATION location with visitors, because I know that they will have a hard time leaving these beautiful mountains.
